THE BOOK WE WISH WE HAD

THE BOOK WE WISH WE HAD

The Book We Wish We Had is less interested in how to hit a business homerun and more fascinated by the game itself. It is a humble collection of in-the-trenches lessons obtained while working at some of the world’s largest agencies and for some of the biggest brands on the planet. It represents teachings learned the hard way, from being a boss to working for one, from failing miserably to achieving considerably, from mentoring to being mentored, from doing the wrong thing to discovering the right thing.

Jeremy’s greatest achievement was taking first place in his high school 400-meter relay. Since then, he’s mostly done creative stuff.

As the Global Chief Creative Catalyst for 25 years at Burson, one of the world’s largest agencies, Jeremy worked for—or against—nearly every brand you can name, using a strategic mix of creative wisdom and wizardry to steal the spotlight and rob market share.

Next to his track trophy, Jeremy is proudest of founding the Creative Catalyst Network, a group of more than 200 creative thinkers in 20 countries, ensuring every client challenge is explored through a kaleidoscope of people and cultures. Most recently, Jeremy launched The Missing Hat Co., an agency specializing in culturally relevant, brand-centric ideas that ignite curiosity, incite pervasive news, and turn ordinary days into paydays for clients.

Southern California born and bred, Matt founded and leads the Strategy & Communications group at NVE. Joining the NVE team in 2015 he shares fifteen years global agency experience and brand leadership previously spending time with WPP developing award- winning campaigns and culture marketing strategies for some of the world’s leading brands. Matt and his wife Nicki live in Sherman Oaks with their sons, Mason and Walker.
